Welcome to Schwarzkopf Elementary. Home of the Bears!!
We are once again an "A" school!!!! Way to go Bears!!
For the 2009/2010 school year our theme will be: Schwarzkopf... Where Learning Is A Treasure.
Prior to the start of the school year, we would like to invite all of our Schwarzkopf Bears to our Open House/ Orientation Meet the Teacher on August 24, 2009 from 5:00-6:30pm. During the open house we will introduce the Schwarzkopf Team to parents and students. Teachers will provide a presentation to parents in their classrooms concerning goals for the year and curriculum. A rep from our uniform company, Ataly, will also be attending our Open House and shirts will be available for purchase and delivery. The youth shirts are $11.99 and Adult sizes are $13.99. It should be a fun and informative evening. We hope that you will make every effort to attend.
Our NEW to Schwarzkopf families are invited to join us from 6:30-7:00 in the Multi- Purpose Room following Open House for a New Parent Orientation. During the orientation, you will learn about our school, some policies and procedures to make the transition easy and enjoyable. We will also take our new families on a tour of the school.
You will receive a mail-out from the school approximately one week prior to school beginning. In the mail-out will be the answers to most of your questions including teacher name, room number and transportation information. Please read this information carefully as some changes from previous years will be included. Please be reminded that the assignment your child receives is tentative until the county verifies our student teacher ratios on the 5th and 20th days of school. Students and teachers may need to be adjusted to meet the reqiurements of the Class Size Reduction Amendment.
We are going to have a great year at Schwarzkopf Elementary School this coming year, beginning August 25, 2009. We are glad you will be able to share it with us.
